20mm Stone Ballast

Traditional stone ballast is widely used in construction and infrastructure projects, particularly in railway tracks, road construction, and concrete mixes. The choice of stone size depends on the specific application, and the two main standard sizes are 20mm and 10mm. 20mm Ballast: This traditional stone ballast consists of crushed, angular stones with an approximate diameter of 20mm (2 centimetres). It is a versatile size commonly used in various construction applications. The 20mm ballast is suitable for railway tracks, as it provides stable support for the sleepers and tracks while allowing for efficient drainage and load distribution. It is also used in road construction for subbase layers and in concrete mixes for added strength and durability.

10mm Stone Ballast

Traditional 10mm ballast consists of smaller, crushed, angular stones with an approximate diameter of 10mm (1 centimetre). This size is ideal for applications that require finer granularity, such as concrete mixing and road subbase layers. The smaller stone size allows for a smoother finish in concrete and offers good compaction properties for road foundations. The choice between 20mm and 10mm ballast depends on the specific engineering requirements of the project. Larger stones, like 20mm ballast, provide greater stability and are often preferred for heavy-duty applications. In comparison, 10mm ballast is suitable for projects that require a finer texture or where a thinner layer of ballast is sufficient.

Crushed Hardcore

Crushed hardcore, often referred to simply as "hardcore," is a type of construction material commonly used in various building and construction projects. It is essentially a mixture of crushed stone and stone dust, typically created by crushing larger rocks or stones into smaller, angular pieces.

Crushed Concrete

Crushed concrete is a construction material created by breaking down old concrete into smaller pieces or fragments. This process involves taking concrete from demolished buildings, roads, bridges, or other structures and crushing it into various sizes. The resulting Crushed concrete can replace natural aggregates (such as gravel or crushed stone) in various construction applications.

MOT Type 1

MOT Type 1 is a well-graded granular material typically consisting of crushed rock, crushed limestone, or crushed concrete. It is used as a subbase or base layer in various construction applications, including road construction, pathways, driveways, and foundations.
